Josh, If you only knew how many people love and care about you…your delicate heart would be filled until forever. Feel the love from the people who pay to see your shows, writings and anything else that you do. You survived all the bad thoughts-you did it Josh‼️

And you did it in your way.

When I was 5, my mom and I were outside raking leaves. She had a cough, and I told her she should take a rest, but she assured me she just had a little cold and was fine. A few days later, she felt so sick she couldn't get out of bed. When I got home from kindergarten, she was gone, into the hospital for 8 weeks with polio. I was pretty sure that if I'd been more persistent and gotten her to stop raking, that she wouldn't have gotten so sick. And she wouldn't have gone to the hospital. And she wouln't have had to wear a back brace and limped for the rest of her life. "Magical thinking" is what my therapist called it. The love we share with our parents is such a force in our lives that it makes us think we control reality, and not always in a good way. Glad Sue was there to set you straight. Luckily for me, my magical thinking didn't keep me away from my mom, and years later, my therapist named it. I got over it so quickly; if only all therapy worked that fast.
