OMG haven’t thought about Buster Brown since forever, and I for sure remember the foot x-ray machines. And I’m 81 and no foot cancer AFAIK so I too apparently dodged that bullet!
Thank you, Josh! Wonderful memories for those of us over a certain age, Buster Brown and his dog Tige. Some advertising adman hit a home run with that. My sister and I loved going to the shoe store in the 40’s because we got to put our feet in the X-ray machine and could see the bones in our feet! We are still going strong in our 80’s so I guess it didn’t give us too much radiation.
I think it may have frightened me to think a boy and his dog were hiding in my shoe...
I remember the shoes and the logo but not the song. That was fun to hear.
