Maybe they’re giving you repurposed astronaut food!
By the time I was born, neither of my parents ever went to a “meeting,” but while you were a clear red diaper baby, I was perhaps more pink. Not Barbie pink, but red diaper-adjacent. I was supposed to be ther first woman on the US Supreme Court, so let’s all get our lefty Jewish perfectionism in line. 😘 You are doing something that is truly important for yourself, and it don’t get better than that. Except that your art is spectacular and beloved, and give yourself some more credit. Lots of credit. Zei gesund.
Sorry to hear about your depression. I've suffered from it for decades and have been in and out of therapy since childhood. Identifying your authentic self is indeed important, as I can attest to as a trans person.
But hey, it's not too late for you to lead a Communist revolution. ;-)
I am so interested in following you on this journey as I think it might be something i should/could do. I love the idea of it, am afraid of the idea of it, but curiosity and your experience is very compelling. I'm with you right now in spirit, Josh. And maybe will some day take it on or as I should say, take it off along with you.
Ah, well I was all jazzed to teach high school math. That was the plan anyway. But like you, Freshman Calculus did me in. Maybe it was the prof who wrote our text, and couldn't answer questions except by quoting the text verbatim, who actually did me in--a friendly student tutored me and I got through, but my direction certainly shifted. Josh, maybe we were both fortunate in our math careers being squashed. :-) Looking forward to seeing the "now I can tie my shoes" you very soon at The Marsh.

Glad to see the program is using a different meal replacement than that Nestle stuff with aspartame in it.
Great job, Josh! Maybe one of the great things you were born to do was killing it on this eating plan!
I completely understand and identify with the joy of being able to do the simple things like tying our shoes.
