It is maddening. I am coping by writing about the city of fitchburg raising the pride flag and the protests against trump... And the achievements of children an artists.... I can't believe i'm still doing journalism and then I can't believe hi ever thought I wouldn't be doing journalism... We are winning. It's just taking a really long time....o bondage. Up yours. Keep on, friend. Tell the stories, especially those of everyone else who is protesting. They have good stories...xxsally by starlight
Hi Josh, Your post reminds me of 2 parts of my history:
--Jewish Kabbalah that says we're each a tiny spark of G-d, and by tikkun olam, repairing the world, we heal our separation from each other and the Creative Being.
--and the grassroots manifesto by Malvina Reynolds, "God bless the grass, that grows through the crack, They roll the concrete over it to try and keep it back. The concrete gets tired of what it has to do, It breaks and it buckles and the grass grows thru..." 3 more verses with affirming and reminding lyrics of our power!
I bet that song is in your repertoire, yes? If not, maybe add learning it to your list of uplifting things to do.
A beautiful image to imagine adding love to the soup pot/crockpot. At least more appetizing as a reality.
Thank you for bringing shape to your thoughts and feelings and sharing, as always
You bring joy to the rest of us - thank you!

Wonderful and wise as always, Josh. Love the crockpot analogy: “add love”
Another uplifting observation from my depressed friend! You sure can write, joshy!
Loved the love coming up through the cracks image. That’s my experience and it’s good to be reminded. Love and hugs to you

Many blessings and gratitude.
Hey Josh! I'm coming to see your show on Friday and am really looking forward to it. So, thanks for giving me something to look forward to.
And now _you've_ given _me_ something to look forward to!
Thank you, Josh. We are thinking of you as you are thinking of all of us….
