Here's a fun tangent. I used to be a big fan of the great science fiction writer and ranconteur Harlan Ellison, who once mentioned Cyril in a memorable anecdote about the far-less-great SF writer L. Ron Hubbard:
I was there the night L. Ron Hubbard invented [Scientology]... We were sitting around one night... who else was there? Alfred Bester, and Cyril Kornbluth, and Lester del Rey, and Ron Hubbard, who was making a penny a word, and had been for years. And he said "This bullshit's got to stop!" He says, "I gotta get money." He says, "I want to get rich". And somebody said, "why don't you invent a new religion? They're always big." We were clowning! You know, "Become Elmer Gantry! You'll make a fortune!" He says, "I'm going to do it."
OMG, Josh - finally read this post- so very cool. I can’t wait to see this “docudrama” or whatever you’ll call it! My husband (grew up in Levitown) and I will enjoy being at the premier! We’re big fans of yours and I can’t wait for the RTSO concert at Ashkenaz! Big hug, Sara
I am an unauthorized spokesperson, but nonetheless, I'm going to say The World welcomes you back and greatly looks forward to any and all new projects.
Very glad to hear the demons have lifted and really appreciate your courage at writing about depression. Maybe the focus of your next solo show? You could pull it off with humor.
And nice to be reminded of old haunts like the New Yorker book store. Growing up in NYC in the 60s and 70s - nothing quite like it!
Yay for new, depression-lifting projects! I love science fiction and fantasy. Ursula K. Le Guin is my favorite writer in those genres. I had the pleasure of meeting her, as well as another favorite SF writer, Douglas Adams. Also love Alfred Bester, never got to meet him though (didn't read any of his works before his death).
I am delighted that you have journeyed to the other side of your depression. And I am very excited about this newly revived adventure you are embarking on. Fantastic.
Perfecto! Welcome back to our world which needs you. You are special (if one considers talent, consideration, lovable, witty, yada, yada, yada) with many wonderf
You had me at Pohl…

This project sounds great - you need it and we need it!
"The Marching Morons" has always been a favorite of mine - the story and the radio version with members of the Firesign Theatre (which I believe is this one: https://archive.org/details/01-the-marching-morons-13-feb-1999-3)
Glad to have you back in the land of the living, Josh!
So exciting and wonderful!
Welcome back, Josh. What a great project. Will see you soon at one of your shows in Berkeley.
