HI Josh, Bill was a friend of mine. What a great guy. MTT had a fruitful and long tenure with SFO. How wonderful that you had this interview with him. And as far as I'm concerned, that settles it, we've got to play at least one movement of the Bach Violin and Oboe Concerto with the RTSO in honor of Bill!
The ending of The Firebird is one of my favorite musical selections. Same with The Rite of Spring (the entire work, in that case; I even bought the full score just to marvel at it).
