Hey, Josh! I'm not sure why I stopped getting notices of your posts, but I'm back and it's so wonderful to be reading your stories, again! Huge thanks and congratulations on being almost through your diet ordeal! A very Happy New Year to you and your family! RTSO Sara
This is so very beautifully touching. Here's what I think, at least this is true for me: you get over being rejected by a lover, but you never get over being rejected by a friend.
Friend ghostings are the worst. So heartbreaking, so confusing, so self doubt-inducing. I'm so very sorry that happened to you. Does it help at all to know that it has happened to, mmm, 95% of the population? That's just a guess, of course, but it seems likely that almost everyone who has ever had a friend has experienced at least a taste of that type of heartbreak. I hope that "Casey" reads this. I don't know what I want for him, as I expect something about it was a painful experience for him as well, but I hope it reads it and gets in touch. I just do.
“To feel, despite all the heaviness that remains, still buoyant somehow, uplifted.” Lovely 💜

Im a little heartbroken about the Casey story but it is, in fact, beautifully written.
