Friend ghostings are the worst. So heartbreaking, so confusing, so self doubt-inducing. I'm so very sorry that happened to you. Does it help at all to know that it has happened to, mmm, 95% of the population? That's just a guess, of course, but it seems likely that almost everyone who has ever had a friend has experienced at least a taste of that type of heartbreak. I hope that "Casey" reads this. I don't know what I want for him, as I expect something about it was a painful experience for him as well, but I hope it reads it and gets in touch. I just do.
